Jury selection secretly begins early in Anthony Sowell murder trial: "CLEVELAND - Jury selection secretly began three days ahead of schedule in the trial of accused Cleveland serial killer Anthony Sowell.

The first panel of 200 jurors filled out questionnaires Friday morning at the Cleveland Justice Center.

Jury selection, scheduled to start Monday morning, was kept secret under orders from Judge Dick Ambrose, who cited it was in the interest of a fair trial.

During the selection process Friday, prospective jurors filled out a 36-page questionnaire.

Sowell is charged with the 11 murders of women whose bodies were found in and around his Imperial Avenue house in 2009.
